Around the world with Tony, Emmy and Grammy-nominated Composer and pop/jazz/R&B/classical songwriter - new Odessa Symphonie released

The World of Wildhorn 2025

 

In 2025, there were a total of three world premieres including Kane and Abel in Japan (January), Einstein: A Matter of Time in St. Gallen, Switzerland (March) and November’s opening of Takarazaka’s A Man Too Beautiful in Takarazuka, Hyōgo, and Tokyo, Japan.

The year 2025 began with 4 Wildhorn shows on stage in Seoul - Jekyll & Hyde, The Man Who Laughs, Cyrano and Mata Hari, supporting Wildhorn’s title as “Korea’s most beloved musical composer.”

 

After a successful run in the West End and a Playbill sponsored performance slot at NYC ComicCon, Wildhorn’s Death Note returned to Tokyo, marking the 10th anniversary of the 2015 musical.

Death Note also returned to Seoul where the show won the Korean Musical Award for best musical in 2022.

 

Bonnie & Clyde returned to Seoul following successful runs around the world including in London’s West End.

& Clyde rode through Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Aichi and a stint in the Hamptons in 2025.

 


Another Japanese production of Your Lie In April made its premiere in August. Original Cast Recordings from Your Lie In April (London) and Wonderland (LandesTheater Linz) were released in 2025.

 

Odessa Symphonie

June 27 Release of Odessa Symphonie, Wildhorn’s second full length Symphony, performed by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. 

July, 13 Premiere Odessa Symphonie & Donau Symphonie performance by Vienna Symphony Orchestra at Munsterplatz Plaza, Ulm, Germany.

 

August 3 - "Frank Wildhorn – Live in Concert" at Theater im Park, Vienna, Austria.

August 7 - “Frank Wildhorn and Friends Musical Gala” Hungarian Premiere of Donau Symphony at Budapest Margaret Island Main Stage.
